It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cy James Medeiros of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Anna and Gilbert Medeiros; his father-in-law Robert Thibeault, Sr.; and his sister-in-law Dawn Thibeault. He is survived by: his wife Michelle M. Medeiros (Thibeault); his mother Kathleen Medeiros of New Bedford; his children, Cy Justice-James Medeiros (Stephanie Cunha) of New Bedford, Myles James Medeiros of New Bedford and Bria Michelle Andrade (Evan) of Oceanside, California; his sister Maureen Medeiros; his mother-in-law Eileen Thibeault; his siblings-in-law, Robert Thibeault, Jr. and Rhonda Silva (Robert); his nieces and nephews, Amber (David), Robert, III, Phylicia, Mackenzie, Shane and Haden; his godchildren, Hayleigh and Torell; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Wyatt, Maven and Donovan; and his cousin Michael Machado. He is also survived by His family includes his wife; his mother.
