With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cristian Alvarenga of New Bedford, Massachusetts, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on September 13, 2020 at the age of 29. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alicia Velasquez (Alvarenga) and Efrain Velasquez; his children, Cristian Alvarenga of New Bedford and Anaelis Alvarenga of New Bedford; and his siblings, Emerson Hernandez of Las Vegas, NV, Efrain Alvarenga of New Bedford, Dennis Velasquez of Rhode Island, Edwin Velasquez of Rhode Island, Evelyn Velasquez of Rhode Island and Sharon Alvarenga of Middleboro. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
