She was predeceased by: her parents, José D. Carvalho and Maria Do Ceu Carvalho (Aguiar); her husband Jorge Grota; and her son Joseph Grota. She is survived by: her son Mario Grota (Anna) of Dartmouth; and her grandchildren, Stacy, Amy, Charlene, Kathryn and Samantha.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 8:15 AM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (230 Bonney St, New Bedford, MA 02744).
