It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles W. Carpenter Sr. of New Bedford, Massachusetts, born in Salem, New Jersey, who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Carpenter and Mae Carpenter (Peterson); and his son Robert Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Alice (LaFrance); and his children, Charles W. Carpenter, Jr. (Louise) of Norwood, Anne Przystarz (late Peter) of New Bedford and Deborah Lee Greenwood (David) of South Carolina. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
