It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Houbre of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 19, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile Houbre and Rose Houbre; and his sister Joan Peckham. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Alice Houbre (Tremblay); his children, Stephen Houbre (Brenda), Susan Doten (Raymond), Ken Houbre (Debbie), Charles Houbre (Fatima), Catherine Alves (Kevin) and Andrew Houbre; and his brother Lawrence Houbre (Florence). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Wearing masks for all services is optional.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or a charity of your choosing.
