With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecilia V. Raposo of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 19, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Lucas and Cremilde Lucas (São José); and her sister Maria C. Medeiros. She is survived by: her husband Manuel Raposo; her son Manuel Raposo (Denise) of Rochester; her grandchildren, Lilah Raposo and Reid Raposo; her sister Lourdes DaSilva (Rogerio) of Portugal; her nieces, Cecilia M. Matias (Eduardo) and Cidalina Silva (Arturo); her goddaughter Susanne Matias-Gomes; and her siblings, Joaquina Marques, Manuel and Vieira. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
