We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2024, at the age of 69, Bruce A. Lewis of New Bedford, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antone Luce and Elsie Blanchette (Mortagua); his child Shawn A. Lewis; and his siblings, Robert Luce, Michael Luce, Elaine Gendreau and Karen DeMello.
He is survived by: his close friend Diane De Matteo of New Bedford; his daughters, Tracy DeAraujo (Tony Gato) of New Bedford, Rachael Lewis (Gary Hathaway) of New Bedford, Destiny McLean (Brady McLean, III) of Tennessee and Corissa Luiz of Tennessee; and his sisters, Rosemary Head of New Bedford, Diane Machado (Robert) of Dartmouth, Cheryl Barrett (Charles) of Dartmouth, Sandra Hibbert (Todd) and Wareham (Tamara Luce). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
