It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ilene Grota of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 7, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Grota of Tiverton, RI; her grandmother Clora Manring; her parents, Glenn Manring, Sr. and Anna J. Moniz; and her brother Glenn Manring, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Rosemarie Heroux (Paul) and Thomas C. Grota (Mary-Jo); her grandchildren, Michelle Heroux, Elizabeth Heroux, Paul Heroux Jr., Andrew Grota (Kendra), Matthew Grota and Jennifer Grota; and her siblings-in-law, Lawrence Grota (Mary Ann), Ann Marie Grota, Ann Marie Libbert and Gale Manring. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
