Betty A. Nunes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2025, at the age of 92, Betty A. Nunes of New Bedford, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty A. Nunes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Almond and Addie J. Almond (Brightman); her husband Henry Joseph Nunes; and her siblings, James Almond, Albert Almond, Donald Almond, Dennis Almond, Karl Almond, Jean Morton and Dorothy Langill.
She is survived by: her children, Steven H. Nunes (Beth) of New Bedford and Brenda L. Saunders (Stephen) of New Bedford; her siblings, Arthur Almond, Roberta Perry of Dartmouth and Judith Almond of Fairhaven; and her grandchildren, Mark Saunders, Jarred Nunes, Ross Nunes and Travis Nunes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home & Cremation (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
