We bid farewell to Barbara A. MacNeil of New Bedford, Massachusetts, born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 10, 2025 at the age of 81. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Louis Pires, Jr. and Lawrence MacNeil; her son Timothy MacNeil; and her siblings, Arthur Samson, Jr. and Mary Barnette.
She is survived by: her children, Michael MacNeil (Georgianna) of Farmington, Maine, Barbara MacNeil of Weymouth and Margaret MacNeil (Michael DelVisco) of Truro; her sister Valerie Langton of Hanover; and her grandchildren, Heather Galinis, Paul Burns, Jamie Brennick, Lauren Corbett and Emily Burr. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
