He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Silva and Ruperta Santana; and his sister Antonia Siva. He is survived by: his wife Carmen C. Silva (Carrion) of New Bedford; his sons, Asterio Silva, Jr. (Sarah Bennett) of Sandown, NH and Victor Silva (Triny Sa-Silva) of Dartmouth; his grandchildren, Cesar Antonio Silva, Victoria Isabel Silva and Alesaias Yadiel Silva; and his siblings, Gilberto Silva and Sigfredo Silva.
