She was predeceased by: her sibling Adrian Messier. She is survived by: her children, Lucille Kenney, Raymond Hanks (Bernadette), Richard Hanks (Debra), Donald Hanks (Janice) and Denis Hanks (Kathy); and her brothers, Charlie Messier of Falmouth, Leo Messier, Robert Messier and Edmond Messier. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
