He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Fatima Amaral (Correia) of New Bedford; his children, Joyce Zielinski (Peter) of Westport, Linda M. Amaral (Felix Bruno-Galindez) of New Bedford and Ambrosio C. Amaral of New Bedford; his sister Fatima Medeiros Amaral of Pico, Açores; his granddaughters, Felicia L. Hernandez of New Bedford and Marguerite Zielinski of Westport; and his brother Antonio Medeiros Amaral.
