It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Medeiros of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alvin Medeiros to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Medeiros (Desjardins); his parents, Ernest Medeiros and Julia Medeiros (Cambria); his son Joel Medeiros; and his siblings, Theophilio, Gabriel, Ernest, Hilda Oliver and Mildred Breault.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Pequita (David), Ernest Medeiros (Joanne Ricci), Susan Turgeon (Brian), David Medeiros (Kathy Roeselle) and William Medeiros (Dawn); his daughter-in-law Cheryl Medeiros; and his sister Dorothy Sousa (Paul). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren soon to be twenty-one, one great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Alvin's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
