She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Philip Theodore Alperin; her parents, Rose Shulman (Miller) and Jacob Shulman; her daughters, Marsha Gayle Alperin (Craig McCormack), Judith Alperin Levy and Nancy Alperin Samores; and her siblings, Mike Myer Shulman and Rita Rosen (Shulman).

She is survived by: her sons, Robert Alperin (Jodi) and Steven Alperin (Krista); her grandchildren, Brandon Alperin, Brittany Alperin, Perry Alperin, Jillian Alperin, Annee Alperin, Noah Alperin, Neilie Alperin, Danielle Levy Genualdo (Craig), Heather Huskinson (James) and Amy McCormack; and her great grandchildren, Drew, Logan Genualdo and Elan Huskinson.
