He was predeceased by: his wife Jane P. McCourt (Lynch); and his siblings, Jean McDowell, Edna McCourt, John McCourt, Ann Riley and Eleanor Praught.
He is survived by: his children, Scott A. McCourt (Christine) of Needham, William J. McCourt of Plymouth and Joanne E. McCourt of Newton; his grandchildren, Libby, Charles, Phoebe McCourt, Ellena Lopez and Patricia McCourt; his great grandchildren, Jett, Liam and Beau Lopez; and his sisters, Janice Melone of Texas and Lillian McCourt of Marlboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
