Phyllis (Knox) Connerney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis (Knox) Connerney of Needham, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Webber Knox, Robert Knox of South Berwick, ME, Margaret Carroll (Peggy) and Frederick Knox of York, ME.. She is survived by: her husband William R. Connerney of Needham; her children, Stephen Connerney of Athol, Jeanne Connerney of Watertown, James Connerney (Sheila) of Arlington and Erica Connerney of New York City; her grandson Walter Connerney of Arlington; and her brothers, Bruce and William Knox (Sandy) of South Berwick, ME. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home (1305 Highland Ave, Needham, MA 02492). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Susanna Catholic Church (262 Needham St, Dedham, MA 02026).
