He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Flynn and Genevieve Flynn (Beane); and his brother Joseph D. Flynn (Sheila) of Needham. He is survived by: his significant other Nancy F. Feldman of Needham; and his siblings, Genie C. Lynch (Jack Lynch M. D.) of Winchester, Gerry E. Flynn (Maureen) of Seattle, WA and Gregory P. Flynn (Lucy Herbert) of Port Chester, NY. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and 10 grand nieces and nephews.
