She was predeceased by: her son Douglas Penta. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Johnson; her children, John Penta (Betsy) and Patricia Duffy (Mark); her grandchildren, Robert Penta (Ashley), Christopher Penta (Ashley), Amanda Duffy (Max), Matthew Penta (Emily), Douglas Penta, Jacqueline Penta and Emily Duffy Foster (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Ryder Penta, Parker Penta, Ava Foster, Carmela Duffy Winograd and Palmer Penta; and her stepchildren, Bruce Johnson (Julie), Bob Johnson (Connie) and Beverly Marchi (Dudley).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Liver Foundation in her honor.
