She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Barnes Kinne; her son Mark P. Kinne; and her sister Lois Scovill. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey S. Kinne, Betsy K. Hines, Ralph L. Kinne, Deborah K. Lyons and Eric P. Kinne; and her grandchildren, Lisa Kinne, John W. Hines, Jennifer N. Hines, Kelley Kinne, Travis Kinne, Christopher Kinne, Ryan Kinne, Nicholas Kinne, Mark Staplin-Young, Hunter Lyons and Emmett Lyons.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burnett and White Funeral Homes- Red Hook (7461 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Eaton Funeral Home (1351 Highland Ave, Needham, MA 02492). A burial was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Needham Cemetery (128 Nehoiden St, Needham, MA 02494).
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Dorothy may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
