In the sacred silence of farewell, Charlotte is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Charlotte's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Cambridge Whittemore and Elizabeth Prentiss Whittemore; her husband F. Hartwell "Hart" Swaffield; and also, Doug Swaffield of Danvers, Payson Swaffield (Jane) of Wellesley and Jim Swaffield (Ruth Frantz) of Southport, CT.. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
