She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Kirchner; her daughter Carol Burke of Marshfield; and her parents, Joseph Swidzinski and Agnes Swidzinski of Mattapan. She is survived by: her daughter Joanne Rui Echard of Walpole; her grandchildren, Michael Burke (Jenna) of Bourne, Joseph Burke (Lauren) of Norwell, Jessica Parrish (Nick) of Virginia and Jaki Ifshan (Ammadey) of Virginia; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Michael Burke, Molly and Caroline Parrish; and her close friend Ellen McLaughlin.
