With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Bruce Glou of Needham, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 22, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Glou and Cele Glou; his former wife Eleanor Stone Glou; his wife Marjorie Glou; his children, Karen Joseph (Robert), Lori Shone (Rob), Lisa Tanzer (Chris), Brian Glou (Jodi) and Kevin Tanzer (Becky); and his grandchildren, Melanie Joseph, Benjamin Lewis, Jarod Glou, Ryan Joseph, Justin Glou, Owen Tanzer, Jessica Lewis, Talia Joseph, Abby Tanzer, Ethan Shone, Jeremy Shone, Sam Tanzer, Harmon Lewis and Tara Conway.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Chesed (Caring) Fund at Temple Beth Shalom of Needham, Hebrew Senior Life's Hospice Fund or Hebrew Senior Life's Power A Dream – both organizations that Margie has actively supported and help others in a time of need.
