He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold R. Ham and Judith Ham (Jenness); his former wife Ruth Alden; his wife Judie; his grandchildren, Joshua, Rachael (Lee), Matthew, Fiona, Emily, Grace, Eric and Esmae; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Ellie and Alex; his stepchildren, Beth (Jon) and Andrew (Jennifer); his stepgrandsons, Calvin and Dylan; his great grandchild Thomas; his friend Joan Hugenberger; and also Judith.
The Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation was established at his insistence, and he served as a trustee from 2011-2017. He also served on the boards of the Bacon Free Library, the Foundation for MetroWest (formerly Crossroads Community Foundation) and the Natick Historical Society.
