He is survived by: his parent Catherine Morris (Egan); his son Richard J. Byrne of Natick; his grandchildren, Hailie J. Morris of Sandwich and Jameson C. Morris (Tsveta) of Sandwich; his siblings, William R. Stringham, Jr (Marilyn) of Natick, Catherine Chandler, John Morris and Joseph Morris; and his son Jimmys. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
