We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2018, at the age of 78, Edward A. Benedict (Nantucket, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Michel Magee; and his brothers, Alexander and Robert. He is survived by: his sons, Michael, Mark and Christopher; his stepdaughter Eileen Magee; and his brothers, James, David and Brian. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
