We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2023, at the age of 85, Waltraud M. Ortmeier (Nahant, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Josefine Gerdes (Wernert) and Friedrich Gerdes; her spouse Lothar Ortmeier; her children, Ilona Connor (Michael) of Nahant, Andrea Monteith (Richard) of Bridgewater and Christina Ortmeier-Hooper (Thomas Hooper) of Barrington; her grandchildren, Matthew Connor (Danielle), Kristen Connor, Michelle Connor, Robert Monteith, Erika Monteith, Kevin Monteith, Sean Hooper, Zachary Hooper and Johnathan Hooper; her siblings, Heinz Gerdes (late Heidi), Hannelore Fotschki, Helga Ketterer (Franz) and Hans Warneke (late Ruth); and her siblings-in-law, Hans Ortmeier, Sandra Ortmeier and Inger Ortmeier. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
