She was predeceased by: her husband William D. Kane; her parents, Irwin Bennett and Leona Bennett (Hoyt); her daughter Cheryl Poole; and her brothers, Harry, Skippy, Bobby and Frankie Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Blydell (late Jeff) of Nahant, William Kane, Jr. (Pauline) of Derry, NH, Richard Kane (Patricia) of Nahant, Robert Kane (Gayle) of Wakefield, Candace Scutt (Allen) of Penn Yan, NY and Kelly King (Thomas) of Swampscott. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews.
