He was predeceased by: his father James A. Pelley Jr.; his brother Brett Pelley; and his uncle William Pelley. He is survived by: his mother Margaret A. Pelley (Ney) of Nahant; and his aunts, Marcia Ney (late Jay Ney) of Idaho and Lucille Pelley of Florida.
