She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hollingsworth and Marguerite Hollingsworth (Lavender); her husband Frederick James Hefler Sr.; her siblings, Kenneth Hollingsworth, Cecil Hollingsworth, Thelma Ross and Margaret Taylor; and her grandson James McCarthy.

She is survived by: her boyfriend Robert "Bo" Bettencourt; her children, Frederick "Jimmy" Hefler Jr., Doreen Ducker (Robert) and Dale Cullinan (Michael); and her sisters, Kathleen Reynolds and Frances Tucker.
