It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Andrew F. Puleo of Nahant, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenic Puleo and Maria Puleo (Romeo); his siblings, Frank Puleo and Anne Puleo; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Rhodes of Texas, Victoria Gavin of Marlborough, Flavio Arduini of Montreal and Captain Teddy Butler of Texas.

He is survived by: his wife Roz Puleo (Butler) of Nahant; his daughters, Rozanne Puleo (Greg Robidoux) of Somerville and Andrea Puleo of Gloucester; his grandchildren, Chase and Roxanne Robidoux of Somerville; his godson Anthony Centola of Lynn; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Arduini of Montreal and Ed Gavin of Marlborough. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Ocean Street (67 Ocean St, Lynn, MA 01902). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nahant Village Church (27 Cliff St, Nahant, MA 01908). A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery - Nahant Nahant (15 High St, Nahant, MA 01908).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Andy's name may be made to the Nahant Preservation Trust at PO Box 30, Nahant, MA 01908.

“I heard the news of Andy’s passing with great sadness. His physical decline in recent years was obvious but his basic goodness and decency never flagged or faltered for a moment. He was the very definition of the “good man” and will remain as such in my memory and, I’m sure, in the memories of his many friends and neighbors. I will never forget the genuine warmth of his smile and the sparkle in his eyes. I feel so fortunate to have known him.”
