He is survived by: his wife Mary Gail Biebel; his children, James Hudson Carwile (Adrienne), Heather McLean Brandon (River), Erin Sunshine McKain (Kurt) and Kathleen Melissa Biebel (Michael); and his sister Robin Wagner (Eric). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
