With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara A. Maratea (Montague, Massachusetts), born in Howard, South Dakota, who passed away on October 17, 2018 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Brittain and Richard Brittain (Thomas J. "Tommie"); and her sister-in-law Antoinette J. "Toni" Willoughby (Maratea). She is survived by: her spouse Thomas J. Maratea, Jr.; her child Barbara; her husband Tommie; and also Cherie W. Dennard (Kenwood) of Belmont, NH. She is also survived by several grandnieces and grandnephews and cousins.

Expressions of affection are requested in Barbara's memory, in lieu of flowers to the Farren Care Center, c/o the Resident's Activity Fund, 340 Montague City Road, Turners Falls, MA 01376.
