He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew L Arnold and Adeline Arnold (Prophet); his wife Ruth Arnold (Maxwell); and his daughter Diane Farquhar. He is survived by: his sister Adeline Herlihy; his son-in-law Clifford Farquhar; his children, Linda Meacham (William), Irving Arnold Jr. (Lisa), Kenneth Arnold (Melissa) and Paul Arnold; his grandchildren, Jeremy Farquhar, Benjamin Meacham, Alison Cadmus, Amy Arnold, Elizabeth Arnold, Irving Arnold III, Kyle Arnold, Melinda Arnold, Ryan Arnold and Max Arnold; and his friend Nellie LeMay. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren many extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Audubon Society, a Veterans charity of your choice, St Jude's Children's Hospital or plant a tree.

“Uncle Irving was one of the coolest people I have met in my lifetime. I will keep him in my heart and thoughts. Sending prayers and heartfelt condolences to all the Arnold's near and far from the Maxwell's. I hope they have Baked Beans & Hot Dogs on the menu once a week and some old machinery and cars he can tinker on. Rest In Peace Irving T. Arnold Richard Maxwell Jr.”
