He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin W. Pikul and Helen I. Pikul (Ackley); his grandson Tanner Simpkiss; and his brothers, Martin Pikul and David Pikul.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Pikul (Butcher); his daughters, Kimberly J. Sommers of New Hampshire, Kelly J. Simpkiss (Joseph) of Palmer and Kristen O'Conner (Jeffrey) of Wilbraham; his siblings, Roger Pikul (Donna) of Monson and Laura George (Jonathan) of Shelburne Falls; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Shea Simpkiss, Evan and Lilly O'Connor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
