He is survived by: his fiancé Faren Woolery; his daughters, Nicole Owens and Pia Slayman; his mother Arthurlyn Slayman; his siblings, Ronald Slayman, Sr. (Niecy), Yvonne Slayman, Wayne Slayman, Alisa Slayman, Michael Slayman-Patino (Nelson), Derrick Combs and Chant'e Combs; his aunts, Marsha Jones and Terry Hall; his uncle Boyce Slayman, Sr. (Karen); his cousins, Tracy Jordan, April Jones, Stephanie Slayman, Shayne Slayman, Aron Hall, Zana Hall, YitLing Slayman, Boyce Slayman Jr. (Charlene) and Powell Simpson; and his godson Chris Burks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, second cousins, extended family, and friends.

Viewing was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Concord Baptist Church of Boston (180 Blue Hill Ave, Milton, MA 02186). A celebration of life was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Blue Hills Cemetery (700 West St, Braintree, MA 02184).
