Mary Ellen Day Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ellen Day of Milton, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Roche and James J. Roche; her husband William "Bill" Day; her sister Margaret "Peggy"; and her siblings-in-law, Roger Gaudreau of Braintree and Bridget Day of Norwood.
She is survived by: her siblings, James Roche of Braintree, Patricia Doyle (Edward) of So, Easton, Paul Roche (Elaine) of Milton, Kathleen Cloonan (Steven) of Milton and Anne Marie Leary (Richard) of Westwood; her brother-in-law John; and her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Gardner, Stephen Doyle, Sky Zito, Michael, Kevin, Matthew Roche, Jack, Colleen Cloonan, Bryan, Caroline, Courtney Leary, Sean Day and Courtney Matheson. She is also survived by many loving great nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alfred D. Thomas Home (326 Granite Ave, Milton, MA 02186). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Agatha's Parish (432 Adams St, Milton, MA 02186).
