He is survived by: his wife Ilona Ferrara (Ames); his children, Cathy Abner (Steve) of Scituate, John Ferrara (Larisa) of Weymouth, Bill Ferrara of Lowell, Jim Ferrara (Christine) of Quincy and Lisa F. Humphrey (Steven) of Virginia; his grandchildren, Michael, Christopher Abner, Anastasia, Anthony, Danny, Nick and Jackie Ferrara; and his siblings, Augustino Ferrara of Braintree, Tony Ferrara of Weymouth and Velia Padula of Quincy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
