He is survived by: his children, Joseph L. McArdle Jr. (Meg) of Falmouth, MA, Kristi Holden (Michael) of Hingham, Michael (Kristin) of Milton and Debbie (Michael Bostrom) of Norwell; his sister Susan Maffie (Bill) of Quincy; his nephew Bill Maffie (Heather) of Newton; and his wife Sandra Tully (Hansen). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren.
