He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Beard and Helen Beard. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn L. (Abatsis); his children, Joseph E. (Sarah) of Pembroke, Thomas W., Rachel Clarke (Sean) of Hyde Park, Allison Engelken (Jeremy) of Rockland and Sarah Crocker (Gregory) of Randolph, Maine.; and his siblings, Lauren Kelley (Jerry) of Whitman, Michael (Barbara) of Needham and Philip (Ana) of New Bedford. He is also survived by nieces nephews, in-laws and friends.
