With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John D. Colfer of Milton, Massachusetts, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 1, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosalie Colfer (Keenan) and Laurence J. Colfer; his brother Laurence J. Colfer, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Rita Colfer, John, James McAloon and Nancy McAloon.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Colfer (McAloon); his children, Susan Colfer of Rockport, MA, John Colfer (Kathleen) of Dracut, MA, Robert Colfer (Andrea) of Newbury, MA and Sarah Colfer O'Keefe (John) of Manchester Center, VT; his grandchildren, John, Rebecca, Katherine Colfer, Charles Colfer, Daisy and Siobhán O'Keefe; his stepgranddaughter Olivia Polan; and his sister-in-law Barbara McAloon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory may be made to Pine Street Inn or to any other charitable organization.
