She was predeceased by: her cousin Lila Pronczuk (Andzej). She is survived by: her husband Dr. Valdemar Welz; her children, Veronika (Nika), Maximilian (Max) and Antonina Welz (Tosia); her brother Walter Kazmierczak (Stephanie); her nieces and nephews, Luke and Lara Kazmierczak; her cousin Kamila Kazmierczak (Marcin); and also, Danuta, Monika and Michal.
In 1998 Ella helped form the Polish Relief Fund's successor: the Polish Cultural Foundation (PCF), and served as the PCF's initial President, and then as a PCF Board Member until her passing.
