He is survived by: his spouse Marion Marcella MacQuarrie (Van Volsen); his children, Allen MacQuarrie (Margaret-Ann) of Stoughton, Susan Canestaro (Carmen) of Wakefield, Douglas MacQuarrie (Agnes) of Avon, Sandra Gedgaudas (Paul) of Brockton, Cindy Lawrence (Alan) of Encinitas, CA, Donald MacQuarrie (Liza) of Odessa, FL, Sarah Susi (Ray) of Milton and Jamie MacQuarrie (Stacy) of Braintree; his grandchildren, AJ, Melissa, Marc, Micah, Daniel, Lyndsey, Cameron, Liam, Sylvia, Helena, Lyla, Isabella, Marco, James, Stella, Joseph and Santina; his siblings, Mary Jamieson of Dorchester, Isabel Carey (Joseph) of Hyannis and Francis MacQuarrie (Bernadette) of Milton; and his sisters-in-law, Marlene Stout of Hingham and Joyce Fallon. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home - Quincy (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (350 Reedsdale Rd, Milton, MA 02186).
