Blair Chamberlain wrote a sympathy message

“Condolences to the entire Bosworth family. Fond memories of growing up in the neighborhood and Charlie's wonderful sense of humor. (Except for my first bloody nose Charlie gave me at about age 9). As teenagers Charlie chased a bunch of us through the Blue Hills one night with a huge flashlight and a portable police radio scaring the crap out of us. Funny stuff. I last saw Charlie about 10 years ago when he corralled my 2 young dogs after they ran off and he called the # on their ID tags. RIP.”

Bob Panora wrote a sympathy message

“So sorry to hear the news. It's been a lot of years but I think of Charlie whenever I see a 442 muscle car (definitely the coolest car in our circles back then) or drive through Scituate. And I still owe Charlie 5 bucks for gas from 1980. Most of all I'll always remember what nice person he was. Rest in peace, Charlie. Bob Panora”
