She was predeceased by: her siblings, Evanthea Bantos and Sotiris Bantos; and her sibling-in-law Eleftheria Athanasiadis. She is survived by: her husband Theodore Makarios; her children, Sylvia Makarios, Perry Makarios (Anna) and Susan Argyro Makarios (Anastasios Koronios); and her siblings, Nota Moraitis, Katina Damassiotis (Nikos), Maria Panagopoulos and John Bantos. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above-named church.
