He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard V. Mathaisel and Adelaide Mathaisel (Jablonsky). He is survived by: his wife Patricia E. Mathaisel (Wooster); his children, Bryan F. X. Mathaisel Jr. of South Windsor and Holly M. Webster of Norwood; his siblings, Dennis F. X. Mathaisel of Concord, Barbara Lee, Joan Fontecchio of Needham and Bernard Mathaisel; and his grandchildren, Bryan F. X. Mathaisel III, Lillian Grace Mathaisel and Steven C. Webster, Jr..

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (3 Barber St, Medway, MA 02053). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (151 Village St, Medway, MA 02053).
