He was predeceased by: his children, Patricia Gavin, Daniel T. and Tommy Young; and his grandchildren, Jamie, Amanda and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Joan M. Young (Michael) of Stafford Springs, CT, Elizabeth M. James of Auburn, Robert D. Young, Jr. (Martha) of Millbury, William S. Young of Millbury and Stephen C. Young (Lisa) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Stacie, Barbara, Kaej, Jared and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Samantha, Nicholas, Anna and Dominic; and his sister Jean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
