He was predeceased by: his brother John Carey; his brother-in-law Joseph A. Nozzolillo; his parents-in-law, Madeline Nozzolillo and Joseph Nozzolillo; his nephews, Joseph R. Nozzolillo and Brian Byrne; and his parents, Paul F. Carey, Sr. and Margaret Carey (Mahoney).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Carey (Nozzolillo); his son Kevin Paul Carey, Sr. (Renee); his grandson Kevin Paul Carey, Jr. (Courtney); his sister Anne Peixoto (Nancy Gervais) of Saunderstown, RI; his nephew Jonathan Nozzolillo; and his nieces, Leah McCormick (Chris) and Kelly Golden (Michael) of Reading, MA..
