He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Laitinen Sr. and Irene (Soumala); his wives, Carol Laitinen (Forleo) and Frances Laitinen (Hussey); his daughter Sherry Laitinen; and his grandson Danny DiRienzo, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Sally Paquin (Robert) of Southbridge, Sandy Oelschlegel (Will) of Vonore, TN, Sheila Finne of Webster, Susan Laitinen of Burlington and Sharon Larson of Sumner, ME.
