Nydam in Millbury, Massachusetts, born in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph VandenAkker and Hilda VandenAkker (Ebbeling); her husband Henry G. Nydam; her siblings, Maynard VandenAkker (Irene), George VandenAkker and Velma Williams; and her half-sister Heidi Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Paul H. Nydam (Lila) of Grand Rapids, MI, David J. Nydam (Rose) of Alberta, Canada, Gayle A. VanderVeen (Michael) of Grand Rapids, MI and Karen E. Conway (Kevin) of Douglas, MA.; her sisters-in-law, Winifred Nydam of Whitinsville and Joanne VandenAkker of Whitinsville; and her siblings, Rev. Joseph VandenAkker and Gertrude Vosteen. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Whitinsville Christian School or to Fairlawn Christian Reformed Church.
